gNewSense 3.0 (Parkes) is based on Debian squeeze. So there is no way
to upgrade from 2.3 (which is based on Ubuntu 8.04).
Refer the [Debian Installation Manual][1], for help. As the
installation process is more or less the same.
If you need more help in getting Parkes installed, please ask on the
[gnewsense-users mailing list][2].
