I have reached a point where my laptop and my phone are actually

The same you will enter later on on PC.

I'm still having trouble getting it to work. My .gnokiirc file looks like this:

[global]
port = 00:16:BC:CE:28:F7
model = 6510
initlength = default
connection = bluetooth
use_locking = yes
#rfcomm_channel = 1
smsc_timeout = 10

[gnokiid]
bindir = /usr/sbin/

[logging]
debug = on
rlpdebug = on
xdebug = on

The output when trying "sudo gnokii --identify" looks like this:

GNOKII Version 0.6.14
