And of course there's always XEmacs Lisp.  Configure --with-gnome.

*chortle*

On second thought, I take that *chortle* back.  --with-gtk and
--with-gnome were implemented in the old days, we don't support GTK+ 2
yet.  So maybe you don't get the canvas widget for free.

On third thought, I take that *chortle* and redirect it at Tom.  See
what one can get, completely by accident and one didn't even know one
had it, with excessively general abstraction?  "That's no accident;
that's genius."  ;-)
