It's context, consider it a fully qualified name. One doesn't branch
'devel' from 'main', one branches
'address@hidden/project--devel--1.2' from
'address@hidden/project--main--1.2'

that is, the archive is a non-removable aspect of revision id's, and
whenever you use shorthand, arch is adding it in.
