Thanks. I'll have a look at it later today. James is responsible for tlacontrib, but he likes to have the original maintain their portions, so patches to aba go through me, patches to tla-archive-locate go through Gergely Nagy, etc...

Perhaps you need a MAINTAINERS file, James?

It allows you to say "aba revert revision; tla commit" without getting
an error about not being up to date. It blows away any in-tree changes,
because presumably that is what the user wants when they want to revert.

From your description, I'm not sure I understand; how does it differ from "tla undo revision?"
