Are there really? Or have you just not noticed us raising them? We've
raised a *lot* of issues about the GFDL.

As an armchair lawyer, I don't think it's feasible. Although if
carefully written, a revision of the GFDL, partially applied (no
invariant sections or cover texts in this particular work) could be
GPL-compatible. Unless you count "weakening the GPL until it is
compatible with more things". And hey, that's how we get to "Can you
trust that the FSF won't make GPLv3 more permissive than we'd like?"
