Think "editting a commit message" like "editting a mail youve just
sent". That's not possible unless you have full control on all the
machines that may have access to your archive.

You'll also get inconsistent behaviours if anyone on earth made a
mirror of your archive, or used Xtla's log library, or ... Well ...
That's just dangerous !
