Laure Conrad, this patch should fix the two problems you mentioned.
Han-Wen, you can include the patch. It fixes a regexp and rewrites
the completize_preamble function.
Has there been some changes in the generated .tex file
between .88 and .93 that cause the big empty space (4-5cm) below
the music when using latex and mudela-book?
You can see what I am talking about if you process
Documentation/user/latex-mudela-example.tex with mudela-book.
