[Regexp] Gnu regexp and port to C#

Hi All,
        I just wanted to know if someone is interested or is working
on a port of the regexp libs to C# ... I'm trying to fix up the
standard libraries of DotGNU Portable.Net ... Which seems to
include System.Text.RegularExpressions . Since C# is so close to
Java ... I'm thinking of a port from Java ..

        In particular a manual port ... (automated porting programs
from Java to C# are proprietary) .. So if there are issues in 
porting to C# , please let me know ..
