I've had much the same problem. I would appear to have some problems
with IRQs though.
Here is a transcript of the output Mach gave me (if it is of any use to
anyone):
GNU Mach 1.3
AT386 boot: physical memory from 0x0 to 0x1fff0000
pcibios_init : BIOS32 Service Directory structure at 0xp
pcibios_init : BIOS32 Service Directory entry at 0xfb470
pcibios_init : PCI BIOS revision 2.10 entry at 0xfb4a0
Probing PCI hardware.

Floppy drive(s): fd0 is 1.44M
FDC 0 is a post-1991 82077
panic: free_irq: bad irq number
Kernel Breakpoint trap eip 0x116404
Stopped at 0x116403: int $3
I then received a prompt and did:
db> trace

>>>>> (unknown) (1852112906) at 0x61700064 <<<<<
0x61700064(Kernel General protection trap, eip 0xf000ff53
Caught General protection (13), code = 0, pc = f000ff53
I copied the above by hand (is there a better way?) hopefully it doesn't
contain any errors though.
I don't know much about Mach and sadly don't have time to work much on
this problem sadly. Hopefully this information will be of some small use
to someone.
Regards,
Daniel.
