The FSF can't afford to make risky investments.  This one would take a
lot more money than we have.

Besides which, we have absolutely no expertise in this.  It would be hard
for us to find a person we could count on to run this project.

It would have to be a tablet, since any phone would need the nonfree
modem malware.

Please don't promote use of indiegogo.  That site requires people to
run nonfree software.  We won't promote anyone else's indiegogo
campaign, let alone start one.

There is one crowdfunding site we can endorse use of: crowdsupply.
