Their feelings are irrelevant to the point of "GNU distro" name causing a 
trouble if the GNU project chooses to run a second distro in the future.

This name has the same problem.

Notice that the GNU project had launched GNUstep and then GNOME. Were the 
former called "GNU desktop", the latter would have name and recognition issues.
