Lovely,

this is exactly what i'd like to see.

time system is canadian, 30 minutes and 5 stones in 30 minutes byo-yomi.

will gnugos play performance increase or decrease
at other times ?

I'd like to know the relationship between
playing strength and playing speed.

Acording to what I have read, unlike chess,
gnugo does not play better, the more time it becomes.

All chess programm I know, based on tablebases and alpha beta algorithms
play better when they have more time .

Is this opposite for gnugo ?
This means that gnugo finds the best move,
but still searches for better,
if time allows, and when the time is over,
it is not able to select the best move ?

I think a dan ranked player is the right one for
verifying this.

next weekend I'll try several 30 minutes 5x30 games,
You will get the score and some statistics.
I believe it is interesting to see the time used for each move,
and the correctness of each move. I'd expect the correctness to be high,
when the time for each move is high.

And vice versa, the randomness 'incorrectness' for each move is high,
when gnugo plays fast.

How often did gnugo win ?

Again thank you very much for this result.

Yours Sincerely

Morten Gulbrandsen
