sorry, i didn't notice that, it's my client (kmail). i'll be posting patches 
attached for a while.

this mail contains rediff of the dfa patch. it must not conflict with 
Trevor's patch, since it touches different functions.

i'll also resubmit the optics patch, since it is also broken. unfortunately, 
i've uploaded the latest cvs revisions of those files, so i'll have to 
reconstruct the patch by hands :(
