On my somewhat dated notebook printing is sufficiently fast. Or better the
step involved like calling latex, producting the pdf (which seems to fail) and
calling kprinter.
The first show stopper was that I did not place gm-print_doc.sh in the path.
I placed it in /usr/local/bin or to be more precise I placed a symlink there
so when it gets updates in the cvs it will automatically be updated in
/usr/local/bin.
However to make sure it is in the right place is the job of the packager for
each distribution.
