Hmm..  The way that KDE and even Gnome slavishly follow Windows about, 
the NeXT look-and-feel actually seems fresh, even "new" to me, and 
probably would even more so to users who have never seen/known about 
NeXT before.  The main "objective" possible source of an "outdated" 
impression might be that NeXT makes less heavy use of gradients and 
pixmaps than has become vogue in recent years.  OK, so let's call it 
"minimalist" instead of "outdated", and make it a marketing advantage!
