Hi,

I'm unable to run configure on Back. i tried on Windows and Freebsd.

On windows I get these errors (on freebsd they are very similar):

$ ./configure
checking for gcc... gcc.exe: no input files
gcc.exe: no input files
no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl.exe... no
: error: in `/home/multix/gnustep-cvs/devmodules/core/back':
: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details
./configure: line 362: as_fn_exit: command not found
checking whether the C compiler works... no
: error: in `/home/multix/gnustep-cvs/devmodules/core/back':
: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details
./configure: line 362: as_fn_exit: command not found
checking for C compiler default output file name...
checking for suffix of executables... : error: in `/home/multix/gnustep-cvs/devm
odules/core/back':
: error: cannot compute suffix of executables: cannot compile and link
See `config.log' for more details
./configure: line 362: as_fn_exit: command not found

config.log shows:
:2204: checking for gcc
:2234: result: no
:2297: checking for cc
:2344: result: no
:2400: checking for cl.exe
:2430: result: no
:2454: error: in `/home/multix/gnustep-cvs/devmodules/core/back':
:2456: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details
:2456: checking for C compiler version
:2456: --version >&5

it is strange, I just finished compiling base and gui, so my gcc works!

Riccardo
