OK, I could try at some point.

Btw, one thing I forgot: I think it is not useful, actually harmful,
to distribute the .la files. They just confuse libtool when building
GnuTLS-using software, as they contain pathnames from your build
machine. Distributing just the .a and .def files should be fine.
