Actually it was broken in a different way at that one, due to the
libgpsd.pc issue, but you only see that trouble when starting from a clean
directory.  Fortunately a simple "touch libgpsd.pc.in" works to get around
that bug, allowing bisecting to work.  And it turns out that the new bug
was actually in the fix for the old one (commit 79800e8). :-)
