DGPS requires an external correction input stream.  You are not really
getting DGPS without it.  Some GPS, for stupid backward compatibilty
reasons, mistakenly set the DGPS flag when they are getting a WAAS
corrected signal.

This would make sense. To answer your question, I am not sending any external streams. I will assume then that my unit is getting a WAAS signal. Is there any flag in NMEA/GPSD to detect this?
