Installed gpsd on a clean Raspbian install. The gpsd daemon starts without issue and each time I execute cgps from a command line, I get the expected updated location data, without issue. However, gpxlogger, about 50% of the time, halts after the first 392 bytes and never continues. Here's a sample of what I get...

address@hidden:~ $ gpxlogger
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<gpx version="1.1" creator="GPSD 3.11 - http://catb.org/gpsd"
        xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
        xmlns="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1"
        xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1
        http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1/gpx.xsd">
 <metadata>

 </metadata>

The 50%-ish success rate occurs regardless if I am running it displaying the data on the screen, running as a daemon, saving it to file, etc. Subsequent attempts, after a failed attempt, never works. If I simply run cgps, then go back to gpxlogger, it typically results in a successful start.

Any thoughts into what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance!
