I don't object to it.  To a certain point you and me want to do the
same (at least this is what I think), but we have different points of
view.

Do you really feel that we are already at the point where everything
is clear?  For me it's not yet.

On the other hand, your addition of an `image' keyword to gpic is
something which can be put into groff without making a decision of
the final image implementation.  So go on!
