Ok.

I think there is no source code available for Overnet, because it was
created by MetaMachine (a company). So Overnet is free, but not free & open
software.


Since there was miscommunication, it's probably good to be picky: the terms Free Software, Libre Software, Open Source and Open Source Software mean software which may be freely studied, modified, and redistributed (in original or modified form), to paraphrase the FSF's list of freedoms. Software that can be downloaded at no charge is called Freeware, "available at no charge," or "free as in beer."

Personally, to me the difference is:
- Available at no charge: what I download to try it out, or for personaal use if there's no Free (Libre) replacement matching my needs. - Free Software: what I prefer to use if at all possible; what I'm able to base a product on.
