You should start from step # 1 (Declare and make translatable your
language in Tryton : Administration -> Localization -> Languages )

What you do NOT need to do is to download the Portuguese
(Brazil) or Italian translation files from transifex, since they're
already included.

The language codes to use in your configuration are :

Portuguese (Brazil) : pt_BR
Italian (Italy) : it_IT
