[Help-glpk] Russian characters not allowed in GMPL?

I’m have a GMPL data set, and some of the symbolic parameters have some Russian characters (example:  70000_70460_1ЧУ_20).  GMPL issues an error statement like “character Р not allowed”.

 

Any easy fix?
