downloaded cygwin package under windows 2000. ran octave and launched octave
2.1.73.imread has trouble with reading space inside folder name. secondly
when i moved image to c:\ it gave me convert failed. -tif file-.  (ran cd
/cygdrive/c/ beforehand).
