| Presently the x/y/z-ticklabels do not respect the axis font
| properties. The attached changeset resovles this.

| the use of binary data transfer to gnuplot is assumed to be present.
| If you decide to revert that patch or delay this one until the binary
| data changeset bug for 3D plots is resolved, I'll resubmit this change

The binary data transfer problem should be fixed now.
