OK, it's working for me now. Thanks! A couple of comments:
* the html output does not respect formatting. If you run the Nerlove.m
script in my directory on MathCloud, you'll see what I mean: prettyprint
should line up columns, but it doesn't. Perhaps a fixed width font
* there appears to be no graphics output. plot(1:10)  seems to generate a
.png, but nothing displays on screen. I suppose you know that. For this to
work for my teaching purposes, I would need to see graphics output.
* it seems that the attempt to use graphics crashed the output of the
script. Nerlove.m no longer gives output.

Thanks again - this looks promising for teaching using Octave. Dealing with
Windows and Mac users has always been a problem for me, so a web interface
would be very welcome.
