RE: Octave on Windows Server OS?

Can you explain to me what "mingw32" refers to?  What other "builds" are
there?

I'm  currently using 3.2.4 on Windows 7, and I see that Octave does use two
threads per simulation, so can you explain why mingw32 works as only a
single thread?
