Hi, I have been experiencing crashing problems when performing any linear
algebra related computations with octave. This did not use to be the case
only a few days ago.
the error I get is, octave: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/liblapack.so.3gf:
undefined symbol: ATL_dGetNB
and octave shuts down. Any type of computation that requires linear algebra
for its solution causes this problem, example: eig(x), inv(x), etc....
I have checked the referenced library (liblapack3gf) and it seems to be
installed fine. I am running octave on Ubuntu 11.10.
Please Help!
