[help-texinfo] Advice on changing fonts in pdf output

Hi all. I'm yet again on the need of customizing the fonts used by
texinfo, but I was trying to not patch texinfo.tex this time.
By now I'm overriding some fonts using texinfo.cnf, as follows:

@tex
% reset some fonts
\font\textrm=phvr
\font\secrm=phvr scaled \magstep2
\textrm
@end tex

It seems to work well, but since my knowledge about tex is scarce I'm
wondering if this is supposed to work correctly and/or there's a better
way.
