[help-texinfo] Problem with pt_BR texinfo file

Hello,

The Cinelerra documentation uses Texinfo. We have the manual available
in both English and French. Now, someone translated the manual to pt_BR.
Here's the file:

Texinfo refuses to convert it to html, txt or pdf. We tried to convert
the texinfo file (which is probably UTF-8) to another code using iconv,
but that didn't work:

iconv --verbose -f utf-8 -t iso-8859-1 cinelerra_cv_manual_br.texi >
new.texi
cinelerra_cv_manual_br.texi:
iconv: Séquence d'échappement illégale à la position 60
(illegal escape sequence at position #60)

Do you know how we could get texinfo to accept this file?
