Hi,
Does anyone know how to use nnir with nnmaildir?
I tried it with the swish-e database and put the following in my
.gnus:
(require 'nnir)
(setq nnir-search-engine 'swish-e)
(setq nnir-swish-e-prefix "~/Maildirs/")
(setq nnir-mail-backend (nth 0 gnus-secondary-select-methods))
However, in the *Messages* buffer, Emacs says:
Doing swish-e query ((query . foo))...
swish-e args: -f /home/pvv/l/stm/Mail/index.swish-e -w foo
Massaging swish-e output...done
Loading cl-seq...done
Doing swish-e query ((query . foo))...
swish-e args: -f /home/pvv/l/stm/Mail/index.swish-e -w foo
Massaging swish-e output...done
Search produced empty results.
gnus-group-read-ephemeral-group: Couldn't request group: Search produced empty
results.
I use GNU Emacs 21.3 and No Gnus 0.2 (1 May edition).
I also had a look at this thread,
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&threadm=37f319c3.0311061034.1b050897%40posting.google.com&rnum=5&prev=/groups%3Fhl%3Den%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26scoring%3Dd%26q%3Dnnir%2Bephemeral%2Bgroup%253A*gnus*%26btnG%3DSearch
but I wasn't able to use it to my advantage.
Regards,
