Now that Koha 2 rc something is using more MARC and has a nice MARC
editor it should be easier to use LC Call numbers. In the past I had
wondered, 'how would I order search results by LC Call?'
Well, format a sorting field like this in the database, with optional
dots:
BV.004529.200000.L3600
and it should sort lexicographically more or less like LC Call numbers
are intended to sort. Does anyone know if there is a maximum length to
each part of the number?
Thanks,
Daniel Holth
