Just a quick note. I am running Parabola on my T400 leaving boot
unencrypted for now. This is working fine without the proper
bootscreen. I am starting Parabola through the "Search for
grub..."-option. My partition layout is along the lines of the "LUKS
on LVM" scenario.(https://tinyurl.com/kko3alg)
Maybe I'll try other options when the bootscreen issues are sorted
out. I tried several different kernel options (LTS, 4.1.6, grsec) and
all are working fine. Boot-up time and shutdown time are lightning-fast!
