OK.  I had previously thought that it was only with Solaris 10 that you
need the Autoconf patch.  Not the case.

Quite the same as reported by Yuri.  You need the patch from[1] in
Autoconf (it is in CVS HEAD).  To make sure it is this failure, please
send config.log.
