yeah, kind of the exact opposite of an accented note.  common in jazz
and funk music, but i've seen it in contemporary classical percussion
music as well.

sorry!  i think i wrote it on very little sleep, and didn't even think
about it.  the example used the right slashes though, i hope, since it
worked when i tested it.  i gotta think clearer...
