Yes, this works...
In order to handle the .ly-extension correctly, on needs to install bash completion string in file /etc/bash_completion.d/lilypond :
... what do you mean by ".ly-extension correctly" ? I mean, what is missing in the above commands? How is the .ly extension not handled correctly?
