Well, yes, that's been planned for years.  However,
- it's going to wait until GUB is stabilized.
- it's going to wait until a month after GUB is stabilized,
  because I won't feel like playing with manually-creating
  regtests or whatever for a while.
- I'd rather call it regression/, since whenever I see
  "tests" in a source tree, I never know if it's for random
  screwing around (i.e. tests) or a serious part of
  quality assurance (i.e. tests).
