Sorry about the doubt!  So there's something weird between your
version of OSX 10.5 and Christian's version of OSX?  Could it have
to do with international fonts / keyboard layout?

I'm out of my depth here.  I just know that both of you are highly
competent developers, so I'll let you two discuss / fix it
further.  :)
