Hello,
I am still working on bends for guitar notation. For the moment, I
redefined the slur
stencil to get the desired results, but this has some severe drawbacks,
so this is
only a crude workaround for testing the postscript routines.
A cleaner solution will need a new engraver for this purpose, but I
haven't any
experience in c++ (at the university, I had lessons in c, but this was
in the last
millenium, so ...). Therefore, I need some help: where should I look in
lilypond's sources
to get an idea of how engravers are defined and integrated in lilypond?
As bends are used to combine two different notes, an approach similar to
slurs
will be the best (in my opinion), but by randomly picking up any file
concerning slurs and
ending with .cc isn't the right way to find out how it works (that's
what I found out so far).
I think there are some c++ guys at the tablature list, but probably the
are very busy with
some other things (at least all my calls for help went to /dev/null), so
I'm afraid I have to do it
myself *sigh*.
Thanks in advance!
Marc
