test-output size is getting ridiculous

I was just about to release 2.13.10, but I happened to check the file
sizes first. test-output (on GUB) is now 506 M. Just over half a
gig. For reference, lilypond-2.13.0-0.test-output.tar.bz2 was 43 M.
Why are we 10 times more than a year ago?

Some more info here, especially about included eps fonts:
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=838

I just tried a clean build and generated a test-output tarball:
  configure
  make
  make test
  tar -cjf lilypond-2.13.10-1.test-output.tar.bz2 input/regression/out-test/
  ls -lh lilypond-2.13.10-1.test-output.tar.bz2

and the resulting file is 378M. I don't know why the discrepancy with
GUB's test-output file, but either way it's way larger than it needs
to be.

Could somebody look into this? I have the website in my mind, so I
don't want to switch tasks, but I'm reluctant to release 2.13.10 with
such a huge test-output.

Cheers,
- Graham
