The output from "-dbackend=scm" contains the final *stencil*
expression for a page of music (and all succeeding pages, if they
exist).  This final stencil expression is evaluated at a later stage
than when music functions and scheme music expressions are evaluated,
so I don't think you'll find its output very useful in this case...
