No effect. Is this a Bug? Is it fixed somewhere?

Ok. Lets make a feature request. But I don't know how, because I've no
WWW access at the moment. If you need some argumentation: It's common
practice at least in German song books.

Sometimes it is also set like the following:

                    { repeat text 1 }          
 text before repeat {               } ending 1 ending 2 text after repeat
                    { repeat text 2 }
