Midi -- What am I doing wrong?

From: Father Gordon Gilbert
Subject: Midi -- What am I doing wrong?
Date: Sun, 4 Feb 2007 09:42:04 -0500

Hi List,

I've been working on this piece for Barbershop chorus, and because of the features of close harmony, I frequently review the midi file (simple piano is fine for now).  When I introduced the extra divisi voices in stanza 4, I all of a sudden found that the midi was playing only the bass clef notes, not the whole thing (for the whole file, not simply the fourth stanza).  I did nothing to the actual midi section, so I'm mystified as to why this has happened -- I don't see the code that has done this.  What am I doing wrong?

Lily 2.11.14, Windows XP Pro, jEdit 4.3 pre9

Hopefully, someone can help ...

Blessings,

Fr. Gordon Gilbert+
