Very nice! A couple of comments: first (I guess you know this) the
bracketed (3+3+2) etc. markup should surely not affect the horizontal
music spacing as it does. Is there anything that can be done?
Second, from the point of view of documentation/snippets, it would be
good to have one snippet displaying multiple different ways of viewing
compound time signatures or beat divisions, everything from the form in
this example,
(3+2)

... which is more of an indicator of beat divisions than a compound time
signature per se, to
3 + 2
8
... which I would view as a stronger version of the above, to
3 + 2
8 8
... and possibly some of the more smartarse time signatures which mix
compoundness with odd rhythmic values (as in Boulez; I'll try to dig up
the exact example).
