Change distance between piano staves for one system only

Dear All, \version "2.12.2" I'm typesetting a 6-stave piece, SATB and piano. Is there any way of altering the distance between the piano staves, just for one system. Also, is there any way to put more distance between the top piano
stave and the bass singers' stave? I have checked out the documentation and not found anything that worked. Fred.
