Hello.

Sorry you are having issues with Frescobaldi. I can confirm that this /does
/work on various Linux distributions so let's see if we can figure out why
it's failing on your end.

First, did you download this one? -->
https://github.com/wbsoft/frescobaldi/releases/download/v2.0.15/frescobaldi-2.0.15.tar.gz

Next, did you try to install using the method in the Readme file:

sudo python setup.py install

That has always worked for me no matter what flavor of Linux I was on. 

Let me know if that helps and we can go from there. What error are you
seeing?
