Thanks everyone. My fraction was right, but my eyes had glazed over from code and I had missed one sneaky spacer rest that was throwing everything else out.

You can use 3/4 and 3/2 here instead of the more complicated and less clear #'(3 . 4) and #'(3 . 2) ;)
