This is how I would write if I would use the \relative mode. I tried it a bit but then I opted for the absolute before becoming proficient.

Regarding the alias: I understand, I also try to avoid personnalisation when not strictly necessary. An alternative could be using the alias during the data entry and make a replace at the end.....
